Service Overview

The roofline that protects your walls — renewed and maintenance-free.

White UPVC fascia, soffit and guttering on a brick home in Gloucestershire

Fascias, soffits and gutters are the unsung heroes of a dry home. When they fail, water gets behind them — and that's expensive. We renew the lot in clean, durable UPVC.

B & S Roof Repairs supplies and fits full UPVC roofline across Gloucestershire — fascias, soffits, bargeboards, cladding, gutters and downpipes. We replace tired, rotten timber and failing plastic with quality, colour-matched UPVC that never needs painting.

Old timber fascias rot and pull away, letting gutters sag and overflow. Once water runs down the wall instead of away from it, you get damp, stained brickwork and rotten roof timbers at the eaves. New roofline stops all of that.

We also fit over-fascia ventilation and felt support trays as part of the works where needed, so your roof breathes properly and the new boards last as long as they should.

What Happens If You Wait

What happens when your roofline fails.

Fascias, soffits and gutters do a quiet, essential job. When they go, the damage works inward fast.

Rotten roof timbers

Failed fascias and overflowing gutters soak the timber ends at the eaves, leading to rot in the very structure that holds your roof up.

Damp, stained walls

A leaking or sagging gutter pours water down the wall. Over time that means penetrating damp, green-stained brickwork and spoiled interiors.

Pests in the roof

Gaps in rotten soffits and boards are an open door for birds, squirrels and wasps to get into your loft.

Why It's Worth Doing Properly

The benefits you'll actually notice — and the ones that pay for themselves.

Truly maintenance-free

UPVC never needs painting or treating — a quick wipe is all it takes to keep it looking new.

Protects the structure

Sound fascias and free-flowing gutters keep water away from your walls and roof timbers.

Smartens the whole house

Crisp new roofline transforms the look of a property from the kerb in a single day or two.

Better roof ventilation

We build in eaves ventilation so your roof space breathes and condensation is kept at bay.

Colour-matched

White, woodgrain, black, anthracite and more — matched to your windows and home.

Fitted to last

Quality systems, correct falls on gutters, and secure fixings — not a quick, cheap retrofit.

The Detail

What's involved in renewing your roofline.

Done properly, new roofline lasts decades. Here's how we approach it.

Fascias and soffits

We strip the old timber or plastic, inspect the rafter ends and felt at the eaves, then fit new UPVC fascia and soffit boards securely. Where the felt has perished at the edge we fit support trays so water always runs into the gutter, not behind it.

Guttering and downpipes

New gutters are set to the correct fall so water actually flows to the downpipes — a surprisingly common fault on existing systems. We can fit standard or seamless guttering and route downpipes neatly to discharge clear of the walls.

Ventilation

Modern roofs need airflow to avoid condensation. We build in over-fascia or soffit ventilation as part of the works so your loft stays dry and the new boards don't trap moisture.

Cladding and bargeboards

Verges and gable ends get UPVC bargeboards and, where you want it, cladding to finish the look and seal out the weather — all colour-matched to the rest of the roofline.
